We’ve seen Reilly frequently over the past year, he swung the bat as good as ever in Fort Myers. He showed a crisp line drive stroke both in batting practice and in games and demonstrated more power than we’ve seen in him before. Reilly’s a hard worker and we’d bet that he’s been sticking to a good off-season strengthening program since we last saw him. Reilly has live athletic actions in the field and ran a strong 6.91. He may end up at second base defensively or possibly even in the outfield. His arm stroke was a little longer and looser than it has been and his quickness and offensive potential will play well at most positions. Reilly is a very good student who has signed to attend Richmond. His tools are MLB borderline, but his playability ranks very high. He has a great feel for the game.

We’ve seen Reilly at a number of different events during the course of the summer. He’s a live bodied athlete with MLB average or better running speed on the bases and good first step quickness in the field. Reilly’s best position defensively is second base, where his quickness and strength is a plus and his arm strength and short arm stroke better suited for most throws. Reilly didn’t hit as well in Chapel Hill as we’d seen him previously. When he’s on, Reilly has a good line drive swing with some power to the alleys. He can play at the highest levels and he's a top student also.

Reilly is an outstanding middle infielder and projects well for Division 1 baseball. His 5 foot 11 and 175 pound frame can get a lot accomplished. He runs very well posting a 6.84 in the 60 which we have seen him run regularly. He has excellent actions in the field. He threw with 80 mph velocity from SS and his arm plays best at second base, as do his actions on making the body turn on the double play ball. He can also hit. We have seen him hit good pitching for 2 years now and in Waco he continued to show a good solid contact swing that produced line drives to all fields. He is a production player at the next level and we expect to see him in a good division 1 program next year. He projects to get stronger, but he's plenty strong already. Austin is an excellent student.

Reilly is an athletic middle infielder with close to MLB average running speed and some life in his body and actions. He made solid contact with wood in Lincoln and shows the potential to be a potential big time offensive player in the future. We think that Reilly will be better suited to second base at the next level because of his arm action, which is short and abbreviated. He has good hands and excellent instincts. We would rate his bat the best tool, but he does many things well. He may create some serious draft interest, but it might be more advantageous for Reilly to play at a major college and continue to develop. He's one that could be worth much more coming out of college. Austin is an excellent student.

Excellent "04" INF with plus running ability and a big bat! He has good hands and body control. He needs to improve his throwing mechanics, but everything else is there. Potential big time college player with a pro future. Right now he projects best at 2B. Very good follow.

Excellent 04 infield prospect with a great future. Made some very good plays, showing range, good hands, excellent actions and plenty of arm. Could end up being a plus MLB runner as he gets older. Outstanding line drive hitting ability. We would like to see him a little quieter in the box, but he can hit and he can play. Keep a close eye on this 04.

Reilly is an outstanding player who needs to improve his arm strength. Only an 04, he can run very well and has nice infield actions. He can really hit! Makes a loud crack with the wood.
