Wallis is a 2006 SS from Lutz, FL, with a 5'11", 165 lb. frame. Wallis has real quick defensive actions and looks good playing short stop. He is athletic and shows it with his quick first step. Wallis has good game speed and shows it the way he plays defense. Wallis has solid arm strength throwing the ball 77 mph across the infield. At the plate Wallis has a high hand set from a wide base stance. Wallis has an advanced approach from at the plate with a good line drive swing path. He has bat speed with some power in his swing. Wallis will only improve at the plate with his good approach and swing path. He is a good student also.
