RHP Nate Templeton (West Des Moines, IA): We’ve had very limited exposure to this young Iowa pitcher but were intrigued by his potential. He has a lanky, projectable body at 6-5, 200 lbs. Templeton’s arm action is very short and abbreviated and his mechanics raw but he touched 88 mph and his low 70’s curveball had good spin at times. He’s a young draft and follow type pitcher who could improve a lot real soon.
