Troy Whitty is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Easton, MA who attends Oliver Ames HS. Tall projectable pitcher's build, some present strength. Big leg raise delivery, long arm action, over the top release point, hard front side, tends to fall off on release. Fastball to 85 mph, mostly straight, soft curveball spin on upper 60's breaking ball, has some feel and life on the change up. Was up to 91 mph last year at PG events with a fluid delivery and arm action. Has much more talent than shown this event. Be patient! Good student.
