Michael Zaccariello is a 2006 LHP/OF from Staten Island, New York, with a lean and athletic 5'10"/172 pound frame. As a left handed pitcher, Zaccariello throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with very good arm speed. He uses minimal effort in his delivery with a high leg kick and good balance. Michael has good tempo in his delivery and works quick on the mound. He works his 80 mph fastball to both sides of the plate, and also throws a 71 mph curveball with good depth and break. From the outfield he showed a good arm with solid carry at 80 mph and he does a nice job keeping his body online. He hits from the left side, and has an upright stance at the plate. He showed a good approach to hitter with strength in his swing and good hands. Zaccariello is a good student.
