Georgie Salem is a 2012 OF/RHP with a 5-11 202 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Vestavia Hills HS. Compact athletic build, very good present strength. 6.46 runner, very good outfield actions, plus range, charges hard, accurate on line throws with plus arm strength, top level centerfield tools. Left handed hitter, spread stance with some crouch, aggressive hitter, gets out front and loses his leverage, line drive swing, sprays to all fields, has the raw strength to stay back and drive the ball but has more of a spray/run approach. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
