Tyler Bowers is a 2012 C/1B with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Sharpsburg, GA who attends Northgate HS. Medium build, has some present strength. Good body life and bounce behind the plate, athletic actions and some quickness, tends to stand up when throwing and slow exchange, solid arm strength, also has good actions defensively at first base. Open stance, good balance, long extended swing with good bat speed, has strength in his swing, solid line drive contact, some gap power, good game at bats, sees the ball well, ball comes off the barrel hard. Solid all around tools/skills. Good student.
