Michael Peel is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Claxton, GA who attends Claxton HS. Tall slender build with good present strength. Quick low arm circle, pitches hunched over negating his height, tends to fall off on release. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight. Curveball and slider are different pitches, curveball has a big downer break, slider is shorter and tigher with a flatter shape, will also cut his fastball at times. Around the plate with all his pitches and competes. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Michael Peel is a 2012 RHP/ with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Claxton, GA who attends Claxton. Peel has an excellent pitchers build and worked his fastball up to 88 mph from a 3/4's release. He throws downhill and his fastball showed life when down in the zone. He showed good pitchability and his slider was sharp. Peel Projects well and needs to be followed very closely.
