Tyler Murphy is a 2010 RHP/3B/1B with a 6'3'', 200 lb. frame from Hilliard, FL who attends West Nassau HS. Tall and lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Good balanced pitching mechanics, arm comes through smoothly, stays tall and throws downhill. Consistent low 80's fastball to 83 mph, more in there when warmer, good arm side run. Sweeping curveball shows good spin/biting action at times, nice feel for change up. Three good pitches with command, works quickly. Good IF actions at 3B, quick release, some carry to throws. Open stance hitting, squares up well, some opposite field pop, some upper cut in swing.
