Clayton Davis is a 2012 OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Thick, extra strong weightlifter's type build. Right handed hitter, narrow open stance, loads hands well, long drifting stride into contact, looks to get hands extended, aggressive swing, creates some bat speed, shows power and lift to right center field, some upper cut plane, will have to make adjustments to handle inside velocity. 7.15 runner, good instincts and aggressiveness on the bases. Very good outfield arm strength, good carry, will have to quicken release and actions. Good student.
