Matthew Zitano is a 2006 catcher from East Freetown, MA. He is big and strong at 6'1", 210 pounds with a solid, mature body, and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team. At the plate, he’s rotational, and displayed good power and good bat speed. Zitano definitely has more power potential with his line drive approach. Behind the plate, he has good hands, good baseball actions, and moves extremely well for a big player. He also showed good arm strength with a 74 mph throw to second base and 2.06 pop time. Zitano is a player to watch for 2006. Matthew is a very good student.

Matt is an '06 C/1B from East Freetown, MA with a strong 6-1/210lb mature body. He shows arm strength with a 73mph arm and 2.10POP to second base. He receives well with nice soft hands and good overall actions. Has a great attitude. At the plate he uses a rotational style of hitting and shows some pop. He's one to watch.
