David Valley is a 2010 SS/P/2B with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Essex Junction, VT who attends Essex. Athletic build. Very good defensive actions at SS, fundamentally sound footwork and fielding actions, soft hands, fields ball out front, quick transfer/release. Hits from a slightly open stance, knee lift trigger, middle to pull approach, solid consistant contact, should hit for average. Also pitched, low 3/4 arm slot, showed feel for all pitches. Very good student.
