Zach Cogan is a 2011 C/OF/1B with a 6'3'', 210 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends La Cueva HS. Very strong, athletic build. Nice short swing for size, strong quick hands, good looking swing, squares up well, flashes pull side power with more to come, mostly line drives now, projects as a hitter. Has quickness behind the plate, receives comfortably, flexible lower half, falls off on throws costing arm strength/pop time. Nice prospect tools. Good student.
