Grayson Long is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-6 205 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill HS. Tall angular build, long limbs, lots of room to add strength. Easy balanced delivery, long smooth arm action, high 3/4's release point, throws downhill, low effort actions. Fastball to 91 mph, mostly straight but spots the ball down in the zone consistently. Potential plus change up, good arm speed and location, some late sink. Tends to slow arm on soft spinning slider, lacks power to breaking ball. Fastball, change up and command all project to potential plus tools, development of a workable breaking ball will be the key to his development. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.

Grayson Long is a 2012 RHP/ with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Long has an excellent pitchers build and his arm works very well with an easy arm action. He throws with minimal effort and showed big sink and run on his fastball when down in the zone. His change was his best offspeed pitch. He had good pace to his delivery and projects very well. Grayson Long is a 2012 RHP/1B/OF with a 6'5'', 186 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill HS. Long has a long lanky frame, good pitching body, good idea how to pitch, solid mix of three pitches, curve ball has 10-4 spin and could develop to a plus pitch, shows good arm action on change up, very high ceiling on the mound, one to watch. Hits from a wide even stance, solid contact guy, works middle away, defensively medium arm action, easy arm and has arm strength, good carry. He is also a very good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
