Aaron 'AJ' VanMeetren is a 2012 OF/1B/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Bishop Gorman HS. Nice athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Polished outfield actions on defense, moves aggressively through the ball, sound footwork, quick release, accurate throws with some carry. Left handed hitter, open stance, moves through to front side aggressively, does get off balance at times through aggression, develops bat speed, pull hitter, looking to drive the ball, has the hitting tools to keep improving, 7.60 runner. Good student.
