Aaron Monahan is a 2007 catcher/third baseman from Trinity HS in Merrimack, New Hampshire, with a big, strong 6'1"/185 pound frame. As a right handed hitter, Aaron hits from an open stance with a good approach at the plate. He has a line drive swing plane with good hands. Monahan gets leverage in his swing and has good raw power. He showed a strong arm from behind the plate with accurate throws at 72 mph. He is projectable offensively and defensively as a physically strong player. Monahan is a good student.
