Michael Gianci is a 2014 RHP/MIF, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Winchester, MA who attends Winchester High School. Has a medium frame with a lean build with room to fill out. On the mound, he has an uptempo delivery with a high leg kick and downhill plane to the plate. His arm works with looseness and the ball comes out clean. He has deception in his delivery with a lot coming at the hitter. He has good arm speed and his fastball has slight cut action. He throws strikes to both sides of plate. His change-up is his out pitch and keeps it down in zone. In the outfield, he works through the ball with a good hop and solid actions. He has quickness in arm and made low online throws. At the plate, he displayed a line drive contact approach with aggressive swings. Good athlete.

Fast paced multi-piece delivery, gets closed well, has deception, still learning to repeat mechanics, might have to simplify in the future. Quick arm, good loose extension out front, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 84 mph, fairly straight with come run/sink when down. Tends to cast curveball, flashes some downer spin at 70 mph. Shows right handed bat speed, aggressive swing, quick hands, hitch to start, can drive the ball to the gaps when his hands are extended.
