Matt Jaquez: Jaquez is a 5-10 junior college freshman infielder from Illinois with a strong lower half. He showed us some ability with the bat both in games and in batting practice, combining a solid, balanced stance at the plate with some bat speed and power potential. He looks like a pretty strong and mature hitter. Defensively, Jaquez profiles out best as a third baseman because of his quickness and actions.
