Lucas Leifeld is a 2011 C with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Sabino HS. Big strong mature build, looks taller than listed. Good agility behind the plate, sound footwork, clean quick release, good arm strength, accurate throws, 1.97 best pop time, will throw out runners, still working on blocking fundamentals. Very good strength in the bat, aggressive hitter, wants to drive that ball, swings hard, good extension/seperation out front, shows gap to gap power, ball jumps off the barrell well, tools to keep developing as a hitter. Very good student.
