Mark Lackaff is a RHP/IF from Downers Grove North HS in Illinois with a 6'0", 160 lb. frame. He has a lean pitcher's body with room to grow. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good mechanics and a balanced delivery to his release. His fastball topped out at 75 mph with some life to his arm side. Lackaff also mixed in a 61 mph curveball with some depth, and a 64 mph change up that is still developing, but he has a feel for. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with solid bat speed and stays balanced through his swing. He has a short bat path with a line drive swing plane and looks to put the ball in play. Defensively he has solid actions in the infield with good hands fielding.
