2004 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Manny is a 2005 grad from Mt. Carmel High School from the San Diego area. He stands 5'5" / 140 pounds and has an athletic lively body with plenty of room for adding strength. Manny is a high energy player with good soft sure hands, quick footwork and a great desire to play the game. His best offensive role is as a good 2 hole type hitter that will hit the ball to all fields and make good contact. Manny is the type of player that the more you watch him, the better he looks. We like his aggressive style and the way he shows no fear at all on the baseball field. If college coaches watch him play enough, they will know he can be a solid contributor at the next level. Manny is a good student as well.
