Allan Hooker is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Northland Christian HS. Large athletic frame with room to fill. Grades out higher as a Left-handed hitter. Good arm strength from the outfield, short arm action, quick arm, good actions, has carry on throws, good feet, takes good routes to fly balls. Starts out with a upright narrow stance at the plate, has a quick swing from the Left side of the plate, good bat speed, stays inside the ball, gap to gap hitter with pop, makes line drive contact. Stays inside the ball from the right side of the plate, shows bat speed, line drive swing plane, swings off his load. Throws from an over the top arm slot on the mound, has arm speed, long arm action, fastball gets on hitters quick, curveball has 12-6 break to it, very deliberate on the mound. Is an intriguing player to follow and is an outstanding student.

Lean athletic build, room to get stronger. 6.83 runner, sound outfield actions, overhand release, accurate throws. Left handed hitter, big load with some wrap, opens lower half early, loose swing with good hands at the ball, line drive swing plane, good extension out front, knows how to bunt and take advantage of his speed. Also pitched, long arm action, high 3/4's to over the top release point, lands open and falls off, fastball to 81 mph, big soft sweeping curveball. Very good student.
