Kyle Foti is a 2007 C/UT from Trinity Catholic HS in Stamford, CT with a 5'11", 172 lb. frame. Kyle has an athletic build and moves well for a catcher. From the right side Kyle hits with an open stance with a somewhat long swing. Kyle tends to cut under balls and could level his swing plane out some. From the left side Kyle shows a similar setup with busy hands at approach. Kyle's bat speed is better from the left side of the plate and he looks better all around this way. Defensively Kyle shows good lateral quickness behind the plate with a quick release. He showed a solid pop time of 2.08 during the workout and looked liked a solid defender at the showcase. Kyle projects as a lower level college prospect at this point.

Kyle Foti is a 2007 C/UT with a 5'11'', 172 lb. frame from Stamford CT, who attends Trinity Catholic. Foti has a smaller frame with a thin build. Defensively, Foti moves around well behind the plate and has good defensive actions. He has soft hands and is a good receiver. Foti has quick feet and a quick release on his throws down to second base. Foti is a switch-hitter, from the right side of the plate he starts with a wide stance with a deep load. His front arm is barred through his swing and he has quick hands. From the left hand side, he swings from a wide base and uses a short load to start his swing. Foti uses a lean back load and keeps his weight back well through his swing. He has quick hands and solid bat speed. Foti presently has gap to gap pop and has some lift to his swing. Foti is also a good student.

Kyle Foti is a 2007, 5'11-165 C from Stamford, CT who attends Trinity Catholic. He has a lean athletic frame that is very solid. Foti is a player who is developing in all areas. He is a switch hitter who has good bat speed and likes the ball in where he has good power. He has good balance and makes solid contact with regularity. He has a line drive swing and drives the ball to all fields. Behind the dish, he showed a 2.14 pop time in work out and 2.31 in the game. Foti has good footwork and a quick release on his throws which were very accurate. Kyle is a good follow for 2007 who will continue to improve.

Kyle has a wide catching stance and is a good receiver. He has quick transfers which translates into a quick release. Kyle is a switch hitter with a different approach from each side. His left handed swing he uses a rotational approach and has good bat speed. From the right side Kyle starts with a good load and stays balanced through his swing. He stays back on the ball well and has good hand strength. Kyle has more bat speed from the right hand side as well. Presently his right hand swing is more refined and he has a good tool set to improve upon. Kyle is a good student.
