Joe McGillicuddy is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-1 173 lb. frame from Fairfax, VA who attends WT Woodson HS. Medium athletic build, some developing strength. Simple leg raise delivery, stays on line, quick clean arm circle, some effort on release, 3/4's slot. Mid to upper 80's fastball, touched 88 mph, gets good consistent running action, keeps it low in the zone. Mid 70's curveball shows some sharpness at times, good depth, nice secondary pitch, rare change up. Shows a good idea how to pitch, should keep getting better. Good student.
