Kevin Nolan is a 2006 shortstop from Nashua South HS in Nashua, New Hampshire, with a strong and athletic 6'2"/180 pound frame. A right handed hitter, Nolan hits from a wide base with a balanced stance and a no stride approach. He showed very good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. Kevin has strength and leverage in his swing and good raw power. In the infield, he has smooth fluid actions and excellent range. Nolan showed very athletic actions and reactions. He is a must follow and is also a very good student.

Kevin Nolan is a 2006 shortstop from Nashua, NH with a good body that shows strength at 6-2, 180 lbs. He ran the 60 in 7.18. Nolan has very smooth fielding actions with soft hands and good range to both sides. His throwing arm is strong and accurate. It's tempting to say that he'll end up at third base as he gets stronger but his actions show that he can probably stay in the middle of the field even as he gets bigger and stronger. Offensively, Nolan hits from a very wide stance with high, exaggeratedly wide elbows in his set up. He hits almost entirely with his hands but has strong hands and generates some bat speed. Nolan looks like he's successful with his somewhat unique approach but it is definitely costing him some power for the time being. Nolan is an excellent student and has signed with Winthrop.

Nolan is one of the top 2006 players in the northeast as a MIF/3B from Nashua, NH with a strong 6'1"/175 pound frame. He hits from a controlled, balanced stance and consistently makes solid contact. He hits hard line drives to all fields and he can go the other way with power. In the field, he shows good arm strength at 80 mph with good carry. He has soft hands and a solid glove. He showed good footwork and good range. He has some playable tools now, and he will only get better as he matures. Keep a close eye on this 06. Kevin is an excellent student.
