Kevin Drake is a 2007 RHP/SS/OF from Stonington HS in Stonington, Connecticut, with a big, solid 6'2"/195 pound frame. On the mound, Kevin throws from an over the top arm slot with a balanced delivery. He has good command of his 76 mph fastball and does a nice job keeping it own in the zone. Drake hits from an open stance as a right handed hitter with a no stride approach and good hands. He has a slight uppercut from the left side with lift in his swing. Kevin has good body control in the infield with an accurate arm at 72 mph. He showed good range in the outfield as well and is a versatile player.
