Kel Cudsik is a 2006 C/1B from Sandy Creek High School in Fairburn, Georgia, with a 6'1'', 205 lb. frame. Behind the plate he has good mechanics with a solid arm at 73 mph. He showed solid pop times around 2.05 and has good footwork. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an open stance that he closes off well at contact. Cudsik takes a short stride and attacks the ball looking to get a pitch he can pull. He stays balanced through his swing and gets great leverage at the point of contact, and transfers his weight well. Cudsik shows raw power and strength in his swing to be a middle of the order run producer at the next level. He needs to consistently go with the outside pitch to become a complete hitter. He is also a very good student.

Cudsik is a 6-1, 205 lb left handed hitting catcher from Georgia with a strong, mature body. He also played some first base at the showcase, which is a good thing considering the potential in his bat. Cudsik ran the 60 in 7.93 and threw 71 mph from behind home plate and 73 mph from first base during drills. His best pop time was 2.02. Cudsik's actions behind home plate were solid on defense. Offensively, Cudsik has very strong hands and uses them to stay on top of the ball very well. He has an open to closed approach and squares up on the ball very well. Cudsik shows college level power potential with very good bat speed. He looks comfortable and confident hitting and is a patient hitter who is looking for his pitch. Strong hitting follow, especially for a left handed hitting catcher. Cudsik is also a good student.
