Aaron Kleekamp is a 2007 RHP/OF from Washington, Missouri, with a 5'8", 155 pound frame. He pitches from a 3/4 arm angle and uses maximum effort. His lower half is a little misdirected, but his arm works well. His fastball has some cut to it, especially when he tops out at 81 mph. He also throws a sharp breaking 11-5 curveball at 64-68 mph. He hits from a slightly closed stance, with no load and no stride. He is short to the ball, and stays balanced throughout the swing. He generates good bat speed, and showed big power to the pull side. He has a strong arm from the outfield (82 mph) with good accuracy and plenty of carry. Aaron has a plus arm for his age, and is a definite top college prospect in the future.
