2004 Underclass National Showcase
Joseph Young -- Young is a slender 5-11 junior right hander from Tennessee. He throws with a compact arm action and a mid ¾’s release point and could benefit from more extension out front. Young’s fastball was 76-79 mph for 3 innings and had some nice run and sink on it. Young’s curveball was 61-63 with a sweeping break and could be improve immediately with the increased extension.
