Joseph DePinto is a 2007 MIF/OF with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Sunland, CA, who attends St. Francis HS. DePinto is a lean, body player with wiry strength and athleticism. He has good speed in the sixty (6.96) and showed even better game speed. Defensively he has nice actions in the middle infield with soft hands and good footwork. DePinto has a quick ball transfer and solid arm strength across the diamond. During the showcase games he showed good range, especially to his glove side, and makes all the plays look easy. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow. DePinto has a good line drive hitting approach with bat speed and a good swing. He stays down on the ball well and turns on the inside pitch well. He stays inside the ball well hitting line drives to all fields. DePinto is an instinctive and heady player who knows the game and how to play. He is an excellent student as well.

Joseph DePinto is a 2007 MIF/OF/P from St. Francis HS, residing in Sunland, CA, with a 5'10" 150 lb. frame. DePinto was named to the top prospect team at the California Underclass Showcase. Has a medium but athletic build, with wiry musculature. Offensively possesses a quick bat and a swing path that is very short to the ball. DePinto is a contact/spray hitter who makes consistent contact. He makes the pitcher work to get him out but don't read that as he is a pest... he can really hit. He also runs well and understands game, making him an effective base stealer. Defensively, DePinto has quick feet and a good early burst to the ball. He is a very solid defender and a very solid player. Consider him a good follow for most D1 programs on the West Coast.

Joseph DePinto is a 2007 middle infielder/right handed pitcher from Sunland California with a lean build at 5'9", 150 pounds. He hits from a narrow upright stance with a front leg trigger. He is short to the ball with a quick, compact stroke. He has decent bat speed and he makes consistent solid contact. He hit better during the games showing more confidence with the wood. He has a quick first step and he runs well, 7.29 in the 60. He will be a good top of the order guy as he matures. He has soft hands with a quick release and a compact arm action. He has quick feet and uses them well to make plays out front. He is a solid middle infielder with good instincts and quick reactions. He also pitched with a 79 mph fastball, a 69 mph slider, and a 67 mph change. He is a good young looking sophomore with lots of room to grow, and he could become a high level prospect in 2007. Joseph is a very good student
