Jose Espinosa is a 2006 catcher/infielder from Wooster HS in Ridgefield, Connecticut, with a lean 5'11"/150 pound frame. Espinosa has a quick release from behind the plate with an accurate arm and 2.15 pop time. Jose has long arm action from the outfield. He showed good actions with carry on his 79 mph throws. Espinosa is a versatile player that is also athletic in the infield with good arm strength. As a right handed hitter, he hits from an upright stance with a line drive swing plane and good bat speed.
