Johnathan is a 2005 grad from Oak Ridge, Calif and has a large frame and strong durable build. Thick neck and strong face with room to hold more muscle in future. Avg defender at 1B with sound fielding mechanics. Occasionally takes a real big swing and appears to want to kill the ball in BP, gets a little pull crazy but when he stays within himself and stays inside the ball he looks good. He shows good bat speed and raw power to all fields. Good LH CB that will be effective against LH hitters and ball leaves hand well and shows good pure arm strength. Chance to have Higher Div college interest with help from his very good GPA.
