John Lerner is a 2007 MIF/OF with a 5'9'', 165 lb. frame from Canton, MA who attends Thayer Academy. John has an average build with a good feel for the game. John has a good approach at the plate with a smooth swing and solid bat speed. In the field John has smooth actions with solid range. His arm will probably limit him to second base at this point. John is a good student that will should attract attention from many smaller-level schools.
