Joey Agreste is a 6'3", 170 lb. left handed pitcher from Chesapeake, Virginia, with a wiry frame and long, slender limbs. He has a finesse approach to pitching with good balance to his delivery and the ability to paint both sides of the plate with his pitches. Agreste showed a 77 mph fastball with good late movement to go along with a 69 mph curveball. He also showed a 70 mph change up, and has very good command of all three pitches, and will throw any pitch at anytime in the count. Agreste also worked out at first base and showed 78 mph (1B) velocity with good feet and balanced actions. He's a left handed hitter with an open stance and fair bat speed on pitches on the inside part of the strike zone.

Joey is a lean athletic thin 6'3-170-LHP with a good arm and loose actions. Joey's velocity 79fb, 69cb,a spot 69 slider, and 61 change puts him in the finesse pitcher role right now, however with good arm speed and a body that will add strength, we can see him in the 83-85 range in the future. Whippy, loose arm action with a plus life on change up. Lean pitchers body with projection. Joey shows very good command of all his pitches with ability to work anywhere in the zone. FB shows tailing action, cb is tight spinner 50% of the time with the makings of a very good pitch. Joey also worked out in the field at 1b showing athletic quick actions. He move well around the bag with 751b velocity on arm. LH hitter with ave hs bat speed and ave hs hand strength. Uses oppo approach with slight knee lift trigger. We see him on the mound "dealing" in college.
