Louis is a 5-9 right handed hitting junior outfielder from Florida. He has a smaller type body with some good wiry strength. Louis showed some nice raw tools in the workouts, running the 60 in 7.08 and throwing 85 mph from the outfield. He should be quality defensive outfielder. The speed game fits his approach at the plate as well. Louis has a very balanced approach at the plate with a nice, short swing. He will use the opposite field . He had a very high percentage of hard contacts during batting practice and games and does a very nice job of handling the bat head. Louis looks like a prototype top of the order hitter. He also pitched a couple of innings at the Showcase but his outfield arm strength didn't translate. He was mostly 77-78 mph on his fastball with a nice 67 mph curveball. Some mechanical adjustments would help Louis on the mound. He will definitely play at the next level.
