Good to ball in outfield, aggressive fielding approach, quick to ball, good reads off bat, good footwork, good arm strength, ball carries to bag, longer arm action - arm whips. Straight away stance with wide base, has batspeed, whips bat head, strength in hands and wrists, hard contact, quick hands work inside ball, high finish, hustles out of box.

Brodie Ross is a 2008 OF with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame from Unionville, ON who attends Markham District SS. He has a medium build with some developing strength. Ross is a 7.15 runner who has good body life and some quickness. He showed good actions in the outfield and had a strong, loose arm that made accurate, on line throws. He should be a capable outfielder at all three positions. Offensively, Ross has a straight up stance with high hands and a backward lean to start his swing. The bat has a long way to go to get to the hitting zone and most of Ross's contact was to the opposite field. A couple of times he got his hands through well and you could see the hand strength and late bat speed as the ball jumped pretty well. Ross has the hitting tools to develop but his approach is limiting him right now. He's a good athlete and should be able to improve.
