Daniel Marra is a 2008 MIF/3B with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Michael Power SS. He has a medium build with some physical maturity and present strength. Marra has clean and fundamentally sound infield actions, with quick feet and soft, sure hands. His arm strength is just fair but he makes up for that most of the time with a quick release. He is a 7.36 runner who profiles best at second base. Offensively, Marra hits from a balanced and very quiet approach, with a wide and open front side that stays open. He has a short, quick swing and pretty good raw bat speed. He has the strength to get the ball up into the gaps and hit very well in games. Marra's approach is low maintenance and consistent. He's a good all around player who strength and fundamentals give him a chance at the next level. Marra is also a good student.
