Aaron Everett is a tall lean 6'3/170 RHP/OF from Louden, TN. He projects very well and should end up throwing 90 or better. At Tropicana Field he topped out at 87 mph showing some good whip in his arm. He has a deceptive delivery that has some effort involved. Aaron is athletic and he has a strong arm. Those two things along with his projectable body make him a very interesting prospect. He could really blossom at the college level and turn into an early draft pick. Especially if he went to a school with a great pitching coach. Aaron is a good student.

Aaron Everett -- Everett is a junior right handed pitcher from Tennessee with a lean slender 6-2 body and extra long limbs. His long limbs come into play right away in his delivery, which is very active with plenty of deception for the hitter. If anything, Everett’s arm stroke is a bit long in back but his arm really whips through loose and quick. Everett’s fastball was 84-86 mph for 3 innings with some tailing action to it occasionally. He threw a 67-68 mph curveball that would probably benefit from a little tighter arm stroke and more consistent release point. We also like the fact that Everett threw 88 mph from the outfield and showed good bat speed and some hand/wrist strength at the plate for a 165 lb. youngster. It would be surprising if Everett didn’t really notch up his velocity over the next few years. In fact, he should throw 90 or better down the road. Potential top of the line prospect. Needs to be followed closely. Aaron is a very good student.
