Jake Frazier is a 2007 LHP/OF from Eau Gallie HS in Indian Harbor Beach, FL with a 5'10", 195 lb. frame. Jake has a thick build with a strong lower half. He shows a balanced online delivery on the mound with good deception from the left side. His fastball has alot of cut action on it and he shows off a plus downer CB. Jake is around the plate and has a good feel for how to pitch. At the plate, Jake is a switch hitter that looks stronger from the right side of the plate. From the right side Jake shows good extension in his swing with solid bat speed. Jake looks to be a good Division II or Junior College Recruit.

Jake Frazier is a 2007 OF/P from Eau Gallie in Melbourne, FL, with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame. He has a strong, mature build and has worked hard on his strength. Frazier is a 7.42 runner. He showed very good actions defensively with a strong arm and very good carry on his throws. He gets in good position to throw the ball and makes accurate throws. Frazier is a switch hitter with similar approaches from both sides of the plate. He hits from a wide stance with busy hands and a pronounced hip coil. There's a lot of motion in his set up which can leave his bat late getting started to the ball on higher velocity pitches. Most of his solid contact is to the opposite field. Frazier has better raw bat speed and overall balance from the left side. He has the ability and strength to continue to develop as a hitter with some adjustments. Frazier also showed some ability on the mound. He has solid pitching mechanics and pounds the strike zone. His fastball topped out 81 mph and it looked like he enjoyed busting hitters inside. His 71 mph curveball had late biting action at times and he maintained good arm speed on his change up. He should be able to get outs as a secondary pitcher. Frazier is a good student with good overall baseball tools. Follow.

Jake Frazier is a 5'10" 185 pound 2007 outfielder and left handed pitcher from Eau Gallie High School in Satellite Beach, Florida. During the workout, he ran a 7.57 60 and threw 80 mph from the outfield. He showed his speed again by running a 4.55 down the line in the game. Jake showed his arm strength in the game by throwing out a runner trying to score at the plate. His throws have good carry to them and he is very balanced making the plays. Frazier is a switch hitter who looked a little stronger from the right side of the plate. He showed good power and bat speed. He did show his arm strength again when he pitched and topped out at 79 mph with his fastball. He was named to the Top Prospect game. Jake is a player that should continue to improve in all areas of the game and one should look for big things from him down the road.
