George "Chase" Greene is a 2008 MIF/3B with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Nicholasville, KY, who attends West Jessamine HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team. Green has a long and lean frame with good projection. Defensively he has good actions on the infield with soft hands, nice footwork, and body control. Once he fields the ball, he can show off his strong arm that is very accurate. He has the arm strength to make the play in the hole and get strength on his throws even on slow rollers. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a narrow and slightly open stance with a flexed knee. Greene loads his hands well and has good bat speed through the hitting zone. Has the ability to hit to all fields, and hit an inside-out triple down the right field line during one of the showcase games. Once he learns to make consistent contact, Greene should be a good top of the order contact hitter. He is also an excellent student.
