Maloney is an "04" OF/C . At 5'11/170 he looks athletic. He runs well, better than his 7.2 60 would indicate. He's good on the bases. His arm will play in left and maybe center, but is not strong enough to play right field at the next level. He looked much better hitting in the games than he did in BP. He hit a couple of deep shots off some very good pitching in the games. He didn't show that bat speed or power in BP. We really like the way he plays and hustles. In fact he did everything better in the games. Jack is a very good student as well.
