Israel Fuentes is a 2004 right handed pitcher from Hatillo PR with a lean build at 6 ft. 2 182 pounds. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a nice flowing arm action. He has a projectable body, but he is a 2004 grad. His fastball topped out at 80 mph and showed good sink away to left-handed hitters. He keeps his fastball down in the zone and throws a lot of strikes. He throws a rolling curveball at 64-65 mph. He throws mostly sinking fastballs and hits his spots well. Good pitcher.
