Isaac Hicks is a 2007 RHP/3B/1B from Homeschooled/Evangelical Christian in Fort Myers, FL, with a 6'1", 165 lb. frame. Isaac has an athletic body and performed very well at the showcase. At the plate Isaac shows good bat speed with a strong load, and good pull power. Isaac likes the ball inside and can really turn on the ball well. In the field Isaac shows easy actions with an accurate arm. Isaac shows great mechanics on the mound with an aggressive approach. He shows a SPLIT that was outstanding and had great tumbling action. We liked Isaac best at the plate where he shows great upside and should attract the attention of many colleges.

Isaac Hicks is a 2007 RHP/3B/1B from Ft Myers, FL, with a 5'11'', 185 lb. frame. Hicks looks taller than listed and has a nice, lean pitcher's build. He throws with a quick tempo'd delivery with a quick arm action. Hicks hides the ball well and his quick delivery and arm action provide some deception to the hitter. His fastball was 81-84 mph with good life. Hick's breaking ball was a 70 mph curveball that had a big downer break and was a quality pitch for him. Hick's threw strikes with both pitches and was very effective. We didn't see a change up. Hicks is young and has two quality pitches and knows how to pitch. He's a nice looking young pitching prospect. Good follow.
