Lenda is a 6-1, 185 lb right handed pitcher from Virginia who also plays first base. He has a balanced, tall delivery with a high 3/4's release point. He tends to open a bit early on his release like most young pitchers but it doesn't seem to affect his command or stuff. Lenda's fastball topped out at 81 mph. His best pitch was a 74-75 mph true slider that had a sharp, late break and was a very difficult pitch for hitters at this level to hit. Lenda can probably mow through a high school lineup pretty quickly with his slider. Lenda is a smooth defensive first baseman who showed nice range and an advanced understanding of how to play the position defensively. He has a quick line drive swing at the plate and uses his hands well to hit the ball hard to all fields. Lenda is a good all around player who contributes to a team in many different ways. He is also a very good student.
