Jason Groce is a 2009 RHP/MIF with a 6'0'', 145 lb. frame from Mebane, NC who attends Southern Alamance. Lean athletic build, room to fill out, low 3/4 arm slot on the mound, good arm speed, loose easy arm action, sweeping 10-4 curveball, fairly tight spin on curveball, good feel for change-up, fills up the zone, advanced feel for pitching, consistent solid contact at the plate, aggressive hitting approach, goes to all fields, good footwork in the field, shows good raw arm strength, moves well, solid student.
