Aaron Daab is a 2007, 6'2" left handed pitcher from Katy, Texas, with a strong and mature body for his age. He has a good, balanced delivery with a high leg kick and easy working arm. Daab will fall off to the third base side occasionally, but generally his delivery is very sound. His fastball was 78-81 mph, good velocity for a young sophomore, and he had typical southpaw tailing action on the pitch. Daab’s curveball was a big sweeper at 64-65 mph. Daab did a very good job of throwing strikes with both pitches during three innings of work and struck out five hitters. He didn’t show a change up.
