As Hoyt gets stronger and continues to play the game, all his abilities will advance. He is a nice player and should be followed. Offensively he took aggressive swings in the games. He has a pull side approach and generally made pull side contact. During BP he showed a pull line drive swing. Hoyt tends to rely on his hands in his swing and as he develops a better overall swing, his ability to use his hands will serve him well because he does have some life in those hands. Defensively he attacked the ball in the outfield and showed off a solid arm. The ball gets out of his hand well and projects to get stronger, as does his entire game.
