Chris Thomison is a 2008 LHP/OF/1B with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Hutto, TX who attends Hutto. Chris demonstrated good speed running a 7.06 60 and his speed translates well to the basepaths. He has an accurate outfield arm that works well, and takes a good defensive approach. He is aggressive to the ball and has good hands. His top throwing velocity from the outfield was 80 mph. At the plate, he is a rotational hitter with a sqaure stance and a good path. He uses a toe tap trigger, and is a lift and replace style hitter. His bat is flat and stays through the zone. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot off the mound and has loose arm action. He is a high effort guy and his fastball has arm side run with a top velocity of 82 mph. He has a tall and fall delivery with a high slow leg lift. Chris has a slender and athletic build with room to get bigger.
