2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Thomas Cornelius is a 2011 MIF/1B/OF with a 5'8'', 145 lb. frame from Severna Park, MD who attends Chesapeake. Thomas has a lean build with lots of room to fill out and add strength. At the plate Thomas makes consistent contact and can hit the ball to any part of the field. He has an idea at the plate, but really needs to add strength to be able to swing wood. In the field Thomas has solid second base actions with a quick release and an accurate arm. Thomas is a very young prospect that could attract the attention of some colleges in a few years.
