2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Tim Wessel is a 2009 IF/P with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Pipersville, PA who attends Central Bucks East. Tim has an athletic well-developed build. At the plate Tim has line-drive swing plane and can hit the ball to any part of the field. He cuts himself off quit a bit in his swing and could see much more improvement with some extension out front. In the field Tim gets after the ball well and has a quick release and transfer. On the mound Tim throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action. His arm action is clean and he shows feel for a solid 12 to 6 curveball. Tim is a solid student that should attract the attention of many smaller college programs.
